SERVICE LEADERSHIP PARTNERS
Kiwanians invest in young leaders in the community through our elementary, middle school, high school and college programs, as well as our youth leadership training program. Collectively, these youth programs are known as Service Leadership Partners (SLP) and are one of the primary ways we support our community.
These programs help youth to develop self-esteem, integrity, respect for others and an understanding of the importance of giving back to one's community.

At KYDS Club, service is the focus of everything we do. At each of our meetings, we set aside time to work on small service project. Sometimes these small projects are as simple as writing letters to children in the hospital, while other times, they are a small part of one of our main service projects. This allows all our members to contribute to our efforts, both big and small. Our members are the heart of our service efforts; the ideas an passion they bring to the table are what makes our club tick! A few of our recent service projects include:
Backpack gift bags for foster children at the Polinsky Center
Writing letters of encouragement to at-risk youth
San Diego River park clean up on
